We are looking for SEO Content Writer interns who want to build their portfolio. Get started by joining the Afro Swag Media & Magazine team!
The SEO Content Writer is “the voice” of Afro Swag Media & Magazine by writing web copy that aligns with our branding and other marketing efforts. Core responsibilities include the following:
Researching the content topic to ensure we are providing quality information to our readers.
Writing new SEO-friendly copy for the advice section of our platform. (Must be able to write a minimum of 20 articles over a 12-month period, a minimum of 1500 words per article).
Sharing the articles written by all interns on the team via your social media channels to help drive traffic to the Afro Swag Media & Magazine platform.
Qualifications
Content Writers must have demonstrated writing and research experience, professional and/or academic. They must have experience writing for a web-based audience as well as a working knowledge of search engine optimization best practices and how they apply to content marketing.
Further requirements include the following:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A working knowledge of SEO and how it applies to content marketing.
Creativity & resourcefulness.
This role is a paid internship and reports to our Sr Content Writer.
